# Weekly Credits

During the active license term, ONZA NEXUS uses a **weekly credit cycle** to determine eligible credits for each license.

### 📅 Weekly Credit Cycle

At the scheduled **weekly cut-off**, the system calculates the eligible credit amount for the applicable period.

The calculation is based on:

* **Actual system performance**
* The operating parameters applicable to that period
* The selected license and its contractual limits
* The remaining amount available before reaching the license's **maximum contractual gross credit ceiling**

### 🔄 Credits Are Variable

Weekly credits are **not fixed or predetermined**.

Depending on actual system performance:

* The credit amount may **vary from week to week**
* A weekly credit may be **zero**
* There is no guaranteed **weekly amount or percentage**
* Previous credits do not determine or guarantee future credits

### 📈 Maximum Contractual Gross Credit Ceiling

Every license has a defined **maximum contractual gross credit ceiling**.

Before a weekly credit is applied, the system checks the cumulative gross credits already recorded against this limit.

If a new credit would cause the license to exceed its maximum ceiling, **only the remaining amount up to the contractual ceiling can be credited**.

Once the maximum contractual gross credit ceiling is reached, the active license cycle ends.

### 💡 Example

If a license has a maximum contractual gross credit ceiling of **$1,950** and cumulative gross credits have already reached **$1,900**, the maximum additional credit that can be applied is **$50**.

The license would then reach its contractual ceiling and complete its active cycle.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Important:** The maximum contractual gross credit ceiling is a **limit, not a target or guaranteed outcome**. Actual cumulative credits may be lower than the License Activation Fee, and the maximum ceiling may never be reached.
{% endhint %}

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://onza.gitbook.io/onza/onza-nexus/weekly-credits.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
